HaysEnergyGroup LLC was formed in 2008 as HaysVentures’ energy investment arm. HaysEnergyGroup seeks to invests in green and alternative energy products, businesses, and technology and considers venture capital opportunities in addition to its typical private equity business investment model of buy/restructure/sell.

HaysEnergyGroup’s introductory project combines fundraising for the acquisition of, and expanding the distribution of a proven fuel additive that dramatically reduces emissions and improves fuel efficiency. In addition to investing its own money, HaysEnergyGroup ultimately oversees international business development with an eye towards identifying an end-buyer once the company has been adequately restructured.

Other projects considered by HaysEnergyGroup include those in solar, natural gas, metallurgical coal, and biodiesel.
