Charlie Zabriskie
Business Development: Project Development & Investments
Mr. Zabriskie joined Hays in July 2005 on the investment analysis and sales side of the firm and later expanded into origination and analysis of the company's investment and development ventures.
At Hays, Mr. Zabriskie identifies and underwrites investment and development opportunities both for Hays and its partners. He has executed deals on the investment sales and leasing sides of the business and has sourced and assembled many of Hays' principal projects.
Prior to joining Hays, Mr. Zabriskie worked in residential and commercial construction with Wood LLC in central New York. In 2004 he served as assistant project manager with renowned, century-old J.H. Findorff and Son LLC, where he helped manage the construction of a high-rise student housing development and several smaller scale projects throughout downtown Madison, Wisconsin.
Mr. Zabriskie earned a joint Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Italian, and Economics from Middlebury College and a Master of Science degree in Real Estate Finance and Development from New York University. He is co-chairman of the Junior Board of Safe Space NYC, a 501c(3), a member of Friends of the High Line, and a member of REBNY. He is also ARGUS Software Certified.
