David Oslonov
Business Development: Investment / Commercial & Retail Real Estate
Mr. Oslonov has been involved in real estate finance for over 11 years and is a Certified Public Accountant. His experience includes performing due diligence, cash flow modeling, underwriting and originating. Prior to working at HaysVentures LLC, Mr. Oslonov worked for Nomura Credit & Capital Inc., underwriting and originating commercial real estate loans for securitization. In this role, he worked directly with borrowers and mortgage brokers to devise creative financing for real estate transactions ranging from $5 million to $200 million, ultimately to be placed into Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities (CMBS).
Prior to joining Nomura Credit & Capital Inc., Mr. Oslonov worked for Arthur Andersen LLP and then Ernst & Young LLP in their Structured Finance divisions for a combined 10 years. During that time Mr. Oslonov performed due diligence and cash flow modeling for CMBS and was the head of Ernst & Young's Commercial Real Estate Collateralized Debt Obligations (CRE CDO) group. Mr. Oslonov ended his tenure at Ernst & Young as a 3rd level Senior Manger. Some of Mr. Oslonov's current and past clients include: JP Morgan Chase, Wachovia, Credit Suisse, UBS, Merrill Lynch, Lehman Brothers, Goldman Sachs, Arbor Realty Trust, North Star Realty Finance, Angelo, Gordon & Co., The Carlyle Group, Centerline Capital Group and Urban Muse LLC.
Mr. Oslonov holds a B.S. in Accounting from the University at Albany. He sits on the Board of Directors for Safe Space NYC, a 501c(3).
